That's the turbine side, not impeller - so it's very very hard for them to blame something being sucked into the intake - whatever did that came out of the exhaust manifold .... which was worked on by the selfsame dealership in January... Word so far is there's no argument with my warranty claim.
As for heat - it's bladdy freezing here!

I think it's because the turbo spins the opposite way than up here.

Warranty covered it - zero cost to me - including replacing a couple of cracked oil pipes
These guys don't learn though. It's pushing 1.4 bar again
