What things have gone wrong with the car? The Turbo died at around 93k, it was a very expensive fix, which came out to be around $3000. They say the Turbo lasts for 70-80k.

You are such a typical American. A sophisticated, high performance car is going to need regular and expensive maintenance if it is going to last the distance. If you are after a place to consume McDonald's while driving down the Interstate, that you can thrash and neglect, buy a Lincon Navigator, or something equally as hideous. The Fairlady Z was not intended as just a suburban hack.

but that quote is pretty funny

yea that one is funny but what i wana know is the below quote true?

QUOTE
Any turbo charger that doesn't even last 100k miles is a piece of crap. Period. Not a comparison of cars, but Volvo Turbochargers can last up to 400k miles with this "proper" mainteance that you speak of. Not impressed.

ive never heard of one that lasts that long, ive seen a few over 300K+ but not 400K

also i thought "volvo" turbos werent even volvo's, arent they mitsubishi
