what all does it take to install the R calipers on my 94 850 turbo?? all im asking for is help not a re-direction.

Forget about the front ones....not gonna happen. For the rears you will need the brackets made by CJ (330+T5R) and a 5mm spacer iirc (and 17's that will clear them)

rear brackets are $125 + sh from CJ btw

so the only way to go with 4 pots would be to go with a big brake kit with 4 pots?

Not exactly sure what you are saying but here is what you can do that are more common...

Front-

Porsche

Wilwood

Stoptech

WP Pro

Rear-

S60R

Stoptech

Wp Pro

not possible

the only "big brake" kit that uses stock parts is the 302mm upgrade

you want porsche, wp pro, stoptech etc? you'll need new brackets

Thought I saw a post a few weeks ago regarding a bracket to mount the FRONT R calipers to 850 & 70 series volvos. Perhaps a SEARCH would yield some results?

There was a post...but the amount of steel holding the calliper on was minimal....I will stick with my other brakes before those...and I even have all 4 corners of the R calipers sitting here

I read over at some Euro-based forum that Volvo has a 320mm (yes, that's 320mm not 302mm) brake upgrade kit. The fellow installed it in his 850, he even listed the part numbers. I saw the pics but it wasn't the R calipers. Probably more like the brakes for the s80 or xc90. Anyone know or have details on this kit?
