hi everyone.
last night i noticed a strange sound coming from outside the cockpit right after i pulled my foot off the gas pedal.
i stopped and tried again. from a standing start, dtsc on, i gave it half throttle, got it up to around 4000-4500 revs and then suddenly let it off without touching the brakes or anything, and right after i let it off, i hear a loud and strange echoing wooooshh.
i suspected the turbo hoses but the car is still pulling as good as it was before. so i'm guessing it shouldn't be a boost leak, but i'm not sure. what do you think?......

About all I know is to take it to the dealer when something strange happens. The description sounds like a loose hose of some sort, though.

Sounds like a torn CBV. You can do it yourself but it's supposed to be very cramped...

Sounds normal to me! Check to see if your airbox lid is secured. This could make the noise louder than normal. Do you have check eng. light?

sounds like the normal empty of the wastegate to me....you're letting off when your turbo is at full boost

It's normal, try taking a XC90 T-6 out and you will never complain about yours again.
