Wow the car looks awsome Carson. The black grill looks fine to me I wouldn't bother changing it. I personally think some sort of carbon fiber lip would tie in great... but looks great already!

The front is way low now as it is... a CF lip would be a waste of money, he would have to replace it with in a month.

Kids, kids, kids... If/when I do a lip on this, it won't be anything crazy, it will be just like the one on gattigang's car (formerly on Will's car), and not stick out that far, 1-2" at the very most...

That would look perfect Carson!

Please figure out a way to do it without those metal brackets in the front...I think they kill the look. Unless you want the M4d d0wNfoRcE.

I would definately do the lip without the "leuvers" on the front, since it wouldn't extend out as far I wouldn't need the added support.

If a CF lip is touching that bumper, make it the VST one. The depth of the VST lip give character, otherwise its like a slab of CF taped on.

Just my $0.02

The bumper is growing on me, though.

is it made of fiberglass or polyurethane?

Might I ask how much you paid IPD for it? My yellow brick has needed a new front bumper since I bought it. The previous owner put a nice rip in it from the driver's side foglight down. <_<

Shoot scott@ipdusa.com an e-mail, he can talk to you about pricing it since it's a custom ordered item :)

Whoa.....wonder who came up with the design first? I've got a hunch the BTCC guys......

That's interesting- remember Mike's comment? " Looks like someone managed to make a bumper with a smaller opening than stock!" And it's used for racing! I guess being N/A allowed it.

I am pretty sure the VST bumper is a BTCC "replica", slightly modified with the foglight holes. I do notice that the VST airdam has a bigger "mouth" than the stock bumper (or R bumper), so even though the opening is physically smaller, it looks like it forces more air through it.

I talked to Scott about that, and the idea was in my head until I was quoted a price as high as the bumper cost itself  And it is fiberglass, so I'm going to be the only person driving this car from now on to ensure it lasts a long time.
