I was fully aware of olivers customer service so I used my amex card when I bought it. If he tried any of the bullshit he has pulled on other people I was just going to have amex deny payment. That aside I had a fine transaction and it's probably been the best $300 i spent on my car. While it is rich, nobody is expecting perfection from a 350 dollar generic tune. Good power though, once I get my downpipe and EBC ill hit the dyno and post some numbers.

I believe custom tune from the base map is 400. but I can be wrong, didn't talk to Oliver for a long time. But I do remember extreme speedtuning chip like 20 psi is 425

What kind of Gain should I expect to see on a 01 T-5 with everything stock. ( and pretty much planning on keeping that way)

Since hes in driving distance I would be willing to drive down and spend the day down there.

Just want alittle more horsepower then the stock T5

UBER NOOB QUESTION COMMING

Can he do a tune on a NA ?

I told you its a UBER NOOB QUESTION

I love my ST ECU's and dealing with Oliver. He has always been great and for the price, I think the others in the market aren't competitive. That said, I am not one to ever "need a brand name" for anything or care if in this case the $700 chip gives me 5 more HP. If I took my car to the track or drove like an ass, I might care, but my car sees 15-17 PSI maybe once per week or less.

I have been tracking this thread. I have also been checking into tuning my 95 855T with a 15g. My car will have an EST exhaust and cai, Magnatec 8.5mm wires EST/MSD coil, and Bosch coppers. I still believe most of my performance will come from suspension mods, but would like a little more pop in the pedal, so this option seems more practical than $800 tunes. Is this a reasonable path for me to take? If it comes in too rich, could it be tweeked?

That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built." - Abe Lincoln

Well I finally met Oliver in person last night after speaking via phone and emails for 8 months while I was getting my supporting mods on and a strong stage 0 done and some of the bickering and complaints about him IMO are pretty far fetched. He surely knows his stuff and seemed to have a genuine interest in his product wanting to keep in touch to report progress whether it be good or bad. I just wanted to throw this in for anyone looking for a tune getting discouraged by all the negative comments.

I had just sent my ECU on my 98 S70 GLT with a 16T turbo upgrade and a ported exhaust manifold. I have the OBX
exhaust on he way but I can tell you that the car just woke up with this two upgrade on my car. The car is boosting
at 15psi and it is real good with no bogs and it sure a night and day with a stock GLT. I would give Oliver a thumbs up.

I have the ST tune on my car and all I can say is WOW..... It work up my baby. She screams!!!! I've never had any issues with Oliver.... Very easy to talk to and know his $hit. I guess I really want to know how much better is a $700+ tune compared to his????
