im going to kill the mechanic who did my turbo swap a year 1/2 ago. a week or so after install the cars performance went downhill and i spent a year searching for the cause, i never thought it could be missing exhaust manifold bolts because we didnt remove the manifold. i remember now though taking a few off and then realizing we didnt have to remove it, i guesse he forget to put 2 back on ohmy.gif . so it has been leaking exhaust and the gaskets are all out of line for over a year. i tried puting some nuts on the threads and tightening but this one keeps poping off for some reason blink.gif , any thoughts???

on one hand im glad i finally found the cause, on the other im really pissed off. i dont have the time to pull the manifold let alone the tools. just wondering what other damage this could have caused, should the ring on the gasket go where the thread is?

I just had a similier problem replacing the brake lines on an 850. Found that the new lines were not the same threads. British vs Metric. a very small detail. but as I tightened down the fitting it would walk out.

Any possability your both is not the same threads?
