New Rotors/pads...question

After I get new rotors and pads put on-- do I need to do an alignenment on a 2000 volvo s70?

LoL, no... make sure you bleed the break lines though, starting with the front left i believe.

Oh snap---the garage wanted to charge me 80 bucks for alignement if I wanted to get pads/rotors on. They said I NEEDED to get it done.

Yeah, not because of the bakes, for sure. However, maybe it needs done, like Danny said. Depending on the last time the brake lines were flushed, I'd opt for flushing the system with new brake fluid, esp if it's never been done (six yrs on brake fluid, eek).

Wait what is going on with the brake lines? I thought we were talking about an alignment. Anyways Volvo recommends flushing your brake fluid every 30k unless your car is 03 and newer then it is every 37,500. If you are going to bleed your brakes start at the RR then LR, RF and LF.
