Yes you can get a TCM upgrade from the dealership. I think we charge about 30-50 for the software and another 46 for labor

I asked my friend at the dealer and he said you only have to the transmission update once, and it was done when they did the ETM (throttle body) software upgrade.

double check your receipts, but to my knowledge a tcm upgrade is not packaged with a R155

So are you asking about custom TCU upgrades? I had mine done at the dealer but I am still thinking of custom TCU. Tony at EPL in Connecticut was saying he would have taken a look into doing my TCU if I got him the details on it. He wouldn't be too too far away from you. http://www.eplabs.net/

I was having an issue with hard shifting after getting the ETM software mapping. Not to mention it wipped my IPD ECU. I've noticed that the car will hard shift from 1-2 or 2-3 at other times the car will not shift when expected, instead, the turbo will spool and then hard shift into the next gear. Mostly this occurs when slowly accelerating from stop. I spoke with the dealership and the service manager said its called shift flare and he is checking if there is a TCU update available. If there is a TCU update, will the TCU update map my ECU like the ETM software did?
