I have a 2001 V70 with door lock buttons that suddenly stopped working, door lock making clicking noises on there own, and the air temperature guage went out...any idea?

I tried reseting the computer without any effect. I have noticed that the only door lock affected is the front right. The same locaion as the sensor for temperature. This leads me to think it might be a dirty connector between the door and the computer. Does anybody know where the plugs are between the door and computer? Where is the computer on a 2001 V70 located?

Not much of a fix, but to add to this discussion. My fathers 2001 V70 has a rear drivers side lock that doesn't go down intermittantly. Always comes up, but sometimes you might need to cycle the locks 2-3 times before that lock will go down. Movement is free, so it isn't binding.

my car developed similar problem with the drivers door; all doors lock remotely, then drivers side unlocks itself right away;
any ideas ? hardware, software, battery in the remote, related issue ???

pdm = passenger door module
the exterior temp going out and the passenger door not locking/unlocking is almost always a PDM
the locking and unlocking right away is usually a door switch...one of the 4.

door switch=actuator ?
is it fixable or replaceable ?
