On my 99 C70 the orange light on the off switch and the orange light on the recirculate button are blinking the a/c runs awhile, the vent temp does not change and is still very cold. I also have heard a slight whistle from under the hood after I cut off the car. Any ideas on what this is trying to tell me. The lights blink on and off at the same time for a couple of minutes, stops then starts again. Thanks for any help.

You've got some codes stored in your CCM, Climate Control Module. From the problem you are describing I would be willing to bet you have some damper motor problems.

I have same problem... and also, my AC will make this bad whistling noise while it's running, unless I turn it off... not sure.

Unless you can get your hands on a scanner that can read CCM codes.
