I noticed that on my 01 V70 there is no ECU cooling hose. There is the nipple on the ECU top cover, but it's just open and there is no hose going into it. I was just going to shove a radiator hose 90 degree elbow and point it down so no water would get in, but I am not sure if a hose even goes on there or not. My 850 has one that goes from the radiator shroud to the ECU box but not sure on the P2 v70.

Anyone know?

my dad's p2 s60 t5 is missing one as well. I just put a post up asking if anyone had the part number. Not sure if it affects performance or not, i'm sure a cool ecu is a happier ecu though. Whats the part number on the one on your 850?

Is that only on the models that had an ECU fan?

IIRC, that's on 94+. Not sure on P2 cars.

my 2001 S60 T5 doesn't have the ecu cooling hose either. and if you put your finger through the open end of the hose from the box there, you will find that it is blocked anyway. that hose was cancelled in our cars because they don't need it.
