any oil problems? pressure/quailty, ect?
if no, replace the reset valve with the new gasket and hope it goes away.
has any recent enginework done? TB?

If it is related to the VVT solenoid, or pre-ignition issues, the VVT solenoid/valve should be removed, disassembled, cleaned, lubed, and reinstalled with the new gasket. There have been issues with it sticking due to infrequent oil changes and sometimes due to metal shavings from the manufacturing process, and the new 'screened' gasket helps this, I hear.

Check your timing belt marks. If the cams are off a tooth this code will be set..
