I just recently took apart my 01 V40's Left Strut assembly to repair due to an accident and I can't seem to remove the springs from the assembly. Any suggestions on what tools I should use?

What's scary is asking that question mid-job...this is dangerous stuff if you don't know what you're doing.

+1 Don't ever try to mess with the springs without the right equipment. It's not a tough job, but without the right tools, you will definitely risk an accident.
