1.) Rattling noise coming from the front going over bumps. I have checked the struts by method of a previous post saying to use a 21mm wrench and to tighten (to the right) and feel for a "spring-back" when released. They appear to be fine. I did notice the the inside of the upper motor mount looks to be cracked, guess that's probably it?
2.) I have just recently noticed that after the car has been parked for maybe 5-15 minutes there is a fan that runs for about 5 minutes and it blows air into the cabin. Not for sure if it has always done this and it is normal or if there could possibly be a problem. The car has never (knock on wood) ran hot.
3.) The hood struts now have gone bad, won't keep the hood up. Anyway to fix these or will I have to by new ones?
4.) Any info of where to get the best deal on booster seats and/or the third seat for the back?
I would like to also add a comment. To begin with I usually always handwash my cars. After coming back from vacation this past weekend I had a ton of bird POOP on it. So I decided to run it through a carwash (brushless) and low and behold the machine broke my fuel door hinge. The only thing I can think of is that when I put the car in park it released the lock on the fuel door and the pressure of the water was enough to break it. I went to the local VOLVO service center and they had them in stock $14.00 after tax and put it on for me, pretty simple fix. Just remember if you find yourself in a carwash, don't put it in PARK!
