Good info man. Looks like you will be executing a pretty clean install eh? Kudos!

As far as people running GT series... Hmm. Not that many people on the boards, but you tend to hear an offhanded mention of a non-VS member running one about once every month or so.

What do you wanna know?

If you're using an OEM manifold, machine the lip flat, it becomes a standard T3 footprint. You will want to order the turbo with a 5 bolt turbine housing w/ wastegate hole.

Oil/coolant lines i discussed already.
Intake pipe should fit depending on the compressor cover.
Stock IC pipe should fit.
Exhaust will have to be modified and you will need something like the ATP ultimate internal wastegate or run an external gate of the wastegate hole.
Then you need tuning

Thanks Mark,

Do you happen to know how much of an offset difference there is between the down pipe connection of a typical 16T straight angle versus the GT2871R. Just trying to get an idea of how much needs to be removed from the current 3"dp.

I found the GT turbos to be quite short, but by the time you add say the ATP wastegate adaptor, it's hard to say. It's one of those things you'll have to wait until the turbo is in to modify the downpipe.

the best stock hg kit you can get is an elring, and that's what i stock. it's almost a good thing to let he HG act as a fuse on these cars..... if you want to go the extra step then get the block o-ringed.

Oh...sorry I dont find this topic. tongue.gif
Does anyone knows how many hp these main and rods bearing can developed?
I rebuild my engine again and upgrade something.
These upgrade items include custom CP pistions(bored to 82mm) ,stronger head screws by ARP and double valve springs and FMIC.But I don't find stronger main and rods bearings for T5 engine.
And I'm try install TD07-25G to my car,but the space so tight that I don't want modify the water pipe.So I still use GT30R on my car. sad.gif sad.gif
