Maybe it's just me, but those pics don't look too impressive.
Light output does not seem much better than stock.
My hids look like 5X brighter than those and I got the 35w kit from Leurven.

Hard to know from the pics...

Cameras have very different treatment for lights, so a different set in exposure or a flash or something would change completly the look on the photo....

What we should try to get is a picture taken at the same configuration of lights and everything, with and without the new HIDs... then we can compare! wink.gif

Alright here are some pics.

When I got the package: I was a little disappointed with the packing of the box... no bubble wrap just a box wrapped in newspaper....

Before, with Sylvania silverstar's:

In these next two pics the silversars are no where near as white as this... I think the camera got a little confused blink.gif They are more closer to the pic above.

After I installed the 6000K hids:

Also the bottom fog is also a silver star for a direct comparison. They work great, turn on no problem in 9 degree weather. I am very happy with my purchase (now im debating making the fogs HIDS or not itkinda looks weird)

I must say I am impressed. I think I will be ordering a 3000k kit if it is available for my foglights. The wiring isnt as thick/hefty as John's kit, and it doesnt look as well put together, it looks like the basic chinese HID kit. For the price though, you cant beat it...

There is 3000k color available. But the price is USD 20 higher. You can find it on my online store.

So.. here is the story... I ordered 6000K hids... the box had hand written 6000K on it... While writing this reivew I realized the bulbs say 8000K... So I emailed my depots about this problem. He offered me a $10 store credit... So I am kinda unhappy that I paid $125 shipped for a 6000K hid kit, that I know have to add another $25 +15 shipping for the correct bulbs that I should have recieved. But its all good... very fast response, very friendly. I kinda understand mydepots point of view, but I want 6000K's. =(

Why do you understand their point of view? If you ordered 6000k and they sent you 8000k, they should pay for shipping you a new set of bulbs? That sounds like bad customer service to me, unless I am not understanding the story correctly.

We are very sorry for sending him the wrong color temp. and we offered $15 coupon for him if he purchases another kit so that we can both save some money by sending the kit and the bulb together. The fault is all ours but I just want to say that i am offering a very good price here and it left me a very small margin. And i am glad to solve any problem in a way that can lead to a win-win. I hope that you can understand.

BTW, please place your orders on the website. Its more reliable and the communication will be more smooth. You will get order updates and tracking numbers via email. If you purchase off eBay, you will need to specify the bulbsize and color temp. in the Message To Seller which is apt to human errors when we process them.

the bulbs may have been mislabeled, they dont look too blue imho, wouldnt 8000k look more blue than said 6000's? if the box said 6000 and everything else said 6000 than the bulbs may be marked wrong?

The box is marked wrong. The bulb is a 8000k bulb. If you put 6000k and 8000k together, you will see that 8000k is more blue.

Chuck, compare the wiring of an OEM HID setup to this one. You cant deny that there is a difference in quality.

Doubt there is. Its just a lot of kits have the insulation removed. Its the same wires. These stuff should be loomed or taped up anyways. I would be more worried about the ballasts. Johns and these kits are probably the same parts relabeled. Not like there are thousands or people making this stuff
