I bought a new wiper motor for my 240. Didn't work, emailed them, got an RMA, returned the motor. They replied back that the ground strap was missing, so I sent that too. Then they said that my paypal account would not accept Canadian dollars. So i changed that and emailed them, but got no reply (and no refund). So here it is, a couple of weeks, no starter, no money, and no replies. I recommend avoiding these people.

// Added update in June
I emailed them over a dozen times, no nasty emails, all very nice words. I left several voice messages, all very nice. There were no responses to the emails, no returned phone calls. My last email in May I asked them to explain to my wife why they were not refunding the money which they had agreed to do. About three weeks after that email, they finally refunded my money which they had agreed to do back in December - only took 6 months, 12+ emails, 4 voice mails.

Save every scrap of packing material, they were quite unhappy since I did not have the original foam insert for the motor. That was because the low and intermittent speeds worked on the motor and I thought that problem was in the switch. But it was the motor and they did refund the money. If you have to return something, just keep trying, they don't answer the phone nor rarely the email, but if you stay on their friendly side, they can treat you right.

You would not believe how often I've called them, they don't answer their phone. I've left messages, they've not been returned, I've sent emails, they no longer reply. At this point, it's now been over six weeks that they've had the wiper motor and the $3.00 ground strap back in their hands and I still have no money and no motor. They, like you, seem to think that it's my fault that paypal does not set up accounts to receive foreign currency by default. They don't mind taking US$ but they don't want to give them back.

Maybe it's just me, but I if I sold somebody a dead wiper motor, I would make sure they got a good motor or their money back, regardless of how they paid. They've not done either of those, and apparently are not going to. So are you ok with a store keeping both the money and the returned parts?

I have ordered from them 3 times before and I have never had any issues at all. Great company IMO.

Eh, one difficult situation doesn't mean it's a bad company, maybe just questionable customer service.

I just ordered a replacement driver side corner. I'm withholding judgment on the company until I have the part in hand (or not rolleyes.gif ).

Well, the turn lamp housing I mentioned in the previous post just arrived. Lost housing on Sat., ordered Mon (actually, might have been Tuesday), received Thurs. Not to shabby. wink.gif The part looks right and I'll try installing it tonight.

I have ordered from them a few times back when they were Volvoworld.com, and that shipping, etc was pretty snappy and never had any trouble.

I ordered Side Markers from them. I was very pleased at the price, and speed, that they filled my order.

After installing the harness, the lights would clip in to the fender! And the gaskets are compressed as if they were on a car already, and didn't work.

I emailed them, and received a phone call, and replacement parts. Fast ans easy, so far I am still on their side.

But - went to install them. Same parts, same problem. No attach-y.

Called this morning, spoke with the "owner" (he said) and he tells me they make them themselves (Oh, and that they supply ipd with theirs!), and have no problem with them. After arguiing with me repeatedly about every aspect of my story, he then puts me on hold, comes back to tell me that he went to the garage put a set in *backwards* (WTF?) and they worked fine. I'M JUST INSTALLING THEM WRONG!!??

#1 - they don't go in backwards. The fender is cut one way only (YES - I actually tried this just to be sure!)
#2 - I KNOW which way they go in, and there plenty of cars and pics to look at to prove it.

Well, I was tired of his crap, so I ended the call.

I'm $ 64 down, have harnesses that work beautifully, and will either attach these with double-sided tape, or pitch them and get the OEM ones from ipd or Erie.

Whatever I do, I am not buying anything from these guys again. I've been driving and owning Volvos for 30 years, and I can't stand being ripped off, then talked to like I don't know what I'm doing.

Ordered a couple things in the past from them and they've been fine.

The lastest was the new set of Volvo OEM floor mats for my 850T, which were cheaper than what the dealer wanted even after shipping. Shipped promptly, brand new OEM as described.

I agree their communication has been poor and their delivery, well I have yet to see the parts and its been two months. Got emails telling me it had been moved out five weeks then another three weeks, they will not return phone messages, answer the phone or reply to email inquiry. I will not ever use them again. Have bought many parts from others that have been recommended but this has been the worst. I will update as this progresses.

I gave up today I have tried calling e-mailing no response. The whole time the have advertised this part with a 5 to 7 day shipping. I have been patient and as long as they communicated I could deal with that. Just don't know if they are incompetent, lazy or dishonest, but I just want to hear from the one more time about my refund.

I just had the same issue with their side marker lights. Wired everything worked perfect except the light housing wouldn't attach, I tried using silicone, removed the entire gasket still just popped back out. I'll just put the emblems back in.
