Gb Feeler(flywheel)

Recommended Posts

Gents, I've been working with 034 to bring a lighter flywheel to market for the 850/70 cars.

Would you guys be interested in these when they become available by Summer?

I can't disclose much info right now but they will make a billet (re-surfaceable) and aluminum rebuildable flywheels for our cars, I will put out more info as it becomes available.

If there's enough interest I will set up a GB.

Summer is too late. Don't want to have to rip a tranny out just to put in a flywheel.

I'm sure if you ask nicely they can probably put aside everything and make one just for you.

Here's the dilly. I gave Javad my 97 single mass flywheel, I included pics of the new style flywheel from Volvo.

034 won't disclose where they sent it, my guess is Fidanza, SPEC or UR.

No dyno #'s yet because they aren't build, in the process now, we have several being made for the first batch..

As we get confirmation, I can post all the answers for the questions above. Give me some time, sorry Josh the first one is mine :P

I am getting 4130 ones made with serviceable friction plate, these are aimed at the RWD conversions but I don't see why a standard version couldn't be made.

034's response;

Hey Rafael, great to know there is interest.

Weight will be about 10-12lbs in alum.

-Will feature a replacable steel friction surface.

-Can't say on price yet, soon.

-HP rating will be well over 1kHP, hard to say after that.

-Full warranty against manufacturing defects.

Thanks,

Javad

Any more questions?

Raf

Isn't 10-12 pounds kinda light for a turbo daily driven car  I would think anything under 15 lbs would be too much
