I had Triple A haul my wife's 850T to Mr. Long's on the recommendation of a friend after the car stopped running suddenly. The gentleman I dealt with (over the phone) was a gentleman named Brian who was incredibly friendly. Here's what I had done:
Parts:
FR7DC Bosch Super Sparkplugs (x5) - $10.70
Fuel Pump Relay - $25.00
Cap/Rotor/Wires - $45.00
Shop Supplies (engine and parts cleaner) - $4.00
Shop Supplies (Throttle body cleaner) - $4.96
Total for Parts: 89.69
Labor:
2.00 hrs @ $64.00/hour - $128.00
Total: 217.68
As I mentioned above, I had the car towed to this location on the recommendation of a friend. I spoke with the gentleman over the phone and he called me when the job was done. When I set out to find the shop I really felt like I had driven out into the middle of nowhere. When I pulled in to the shop location I was greeted by a multiple-acre Volvo junkyard (hence the used parts listed above). The parts and labor listing comes directly from the invoice given to me by the shop. I also asked for an estimate on a valve guide seals/head gasket job and was given an estimate of $750.00 to $800.00.
I strongly recommend anyone in the Middle TN area give Mr. Long a call.
