If you are in the area of perrysburg, OH then take your Volvo to an independent shop called:

Bavarian Autosport Inc.
672 W. Boundary St.
Perrysburg, Oh
43551

phone: 419-874-0680

They do excellent work, are fair and won't do anything more then what you tell them to. They can also get volvo parts. They work on all euro cars, Volvo, BMW, VW, etc. The only thing that is frustrating some times is they go in spurts where they are quite busy. And you may have to wait a 3 days to get in for an appointment. This is not every time but once in awhile. In my opinion it is worth the wait. I recommend these guys.

They are decent - pricey, though - suspension work, tune-up (including OEM parts), master switch, 4 ContiPro Contact tires (raved that BMW drivers loved them) = $2247. Good work, except for the fact they couldn't diagnose a body squeak in my '00 S70 GLT SE - turns out the rack and pinion was shot (major power steering leak, difficulty steering)...took it to another repair shop and they fixed it ($888) - no squeak/no leak/steering fine. I should have asked more questions at BA when they said that "after we cleaned off the power steering fluid while doing the tune-up...". They had the car for a week and didn't fix it completely.
