I just wish that they would be honest about the reasons behind the iraq war, I'm sure they were halfway decent and since I'm not fighting there I couldn't care less about what happens.

Shameless!

What do you suspect those reasons are?

Certainly not oil. Gas is now $3 a gallon. We haven't taken a drop from Iraq.

Certainly not revenge. Bush 1 played by the rules and achieved a nice victory.

What could it be?

My guesses are:

1. Abu Nidal, mastermind terrorist, living in Bagdad. Broker between Saddam and Al Qaeda?
2. Saddam confirmed as having and used WMDs at the end of Gulf War I. Ask 1,000,000 dead Iranians and Kurds if they think he didn't have WMDs.
3. Saddam never offered proof they were destroyed and the UN inspectors couldn't find them.
4. Saddam having WMDs but no way to hit the US, Al Qaeda not having WMD's but proving that THEY could hit the US. Just like Reese's Penaut Butter Cups. They would go great together.
5. US Hyper sensitivity and near blindness to terrorist threats in the wake of 9/11/01 via a very poor intelligence system thanks to Clinton's eight years.

Again, it's just a theory and I'm probably wrong. wink.gif

Definitely true about oil. People say we went for oil but Iraq hasn't had a geological survey for the past 40 years. They could either be the richest country in oil or the poorest. Seeing as how Mr. Insane tried to invade Kuwait for their oil, I doubt he has any.

Another thing, people are like oh there are no wmd. Research some more. My Dad brought back pictures of biological weapons that were made. It makes me laugh when idiots say there are none. Also why did he have three stage rockets? For his space program that he had? Another thing what did he do to the Kurds. He used Biological weapons.

My Dad was one of the first groups to go into Iraq. He got to see all the messed up things like the torture rooms and rape rooms etc. He told me that his sons were worse though. They would drive around and find a girl to have sex with and if they didn't they would kill her family. I can go on all day about why its necessary that we are there. I look at facts vs. the news. Watching the news will give you about as much information on the war as watching cartoons.

AC was suggesting Bush was drunk when he called for invasion of Iraq. He may be right. That's when I usually call for world domination! laugh.gif
