Have you actually looked into recalls. This still might be warrantied and replaced by the dealer

nope, the problem may of been from draining the battery with the ignition on.
shop wants $1200 for a new ecm, and they aren't even sure if it'll fix it

yeah, but ETM problems wouldn't cause -
bad IAT, bad coolant temp, bad throttle pedal sensor, bad front o2...
i think i toasted something in the ecm
