Anyone know the size of the nut for the axles on an 850? I know there's a smaller and larger one. I need to remove my axle and I don't have a socket that big.

Are you making up numbers? Is that for both nuts?

Because they're two different size nuts for the axles. Don't know if that actually changes the OD of it or not.

Well, I can hop on a bus and get to Sears easier than I can get to Autozone. My car's on stands with a bad passenger axle and my summer wheels on. And with this supposed snow storm, not driving my car until the roads are completely dry. Plus, I should have one in my tool box anyways.

Friend just told me Toyota was going to charge him $1000 for new spark plugs, wires and installation . So now he's gonna pick up a set of aftermarket plugs and wires, bring 'em to my place and I'm gonna teach him how to change them.

Not necessarily. There are aftermarket axle nuts that are smaller. I forget the exact size though. I know OEM is 36mm.
