There's still that metal stud that protrudes out. I got it past the plastic cover. I wrestled with it for about an hour and it was not budging.

There's still that metal stud that protrudes out. I got it past the plastic cover. I wrestled with it for about an hour and it was not budging.

I know the stud is there. That's why We never accomplished Lee's timing belt at Your parents garage during that winter meet. But when We did Tommy's timing belt, We cut the old one, and the new one just slipped right in.

After about 20 minutes of fighting with the god damn thing.

Has anyone replaced a timing belt on an x70 that has that stud on the bottom of the crank and left the balancer on? This is why harder than it should be.

Wait.. What's a timing belt?
