WOAH amazing pics...

I have been fishing on lake Ontario a few times since that instance and took Dramamine pills and didn't have an issue. A combination of the diesel and the larger waves nearly killed me lol.

So you were in the Navy and got sea sick... hmmmmmm :p

Speaking of Navy... I just got home from a week long trip in San Diego. What a cool city and amazing Naval presence!

Was never in the Navy I work for them now... And yes I still get sea sick... Glad my job is mostly on the land. Dramamine does nothing for me, sea sickness patch (scopolamine) works but I get super dopey on it, it's the "truth serum" drug you would see in old movies. The only thing that works in the sea sickness watch, it's basically a tens unit on your wrist and "shocks" you nerves in your wrist to keep you from puking... I usually keep in at 1-2 on normal rides, but the sea state 6 I had it at 5! it would make my hand ball up out of my control... I use to play a game "Who can take it at 5" and nobody make it past 3 without dropping it...

That picture of the sunken boat is a different boat right? Did they sink one, then build an entirely different boat and rename it the exact same name, including the '3'? What am I missing?

Mighty Servant 3 sunk and they salvaged it (the first photo I posted of it under water) cause they are so expensive to rebuild, and all it needs is s good cleaning and partial rebuild. The second post where the Mighty Servant 1 is partially under water is how they load, is submerges to load cargo, the floats it up. There are some videos on YouTube to show how they work.

Would trimming off an inch or two of this coolant temp probe stop it from working correctly?

We run one of these in my dads v8 740, and while the fan comes on at the correct time, it shuts off too fast, and then the temp gauge starts to climb during idle. I had to shorten the probe in order to fit it correctly, but I'm wondering now if that's causing my issue. Probably a stupid decision.

That won't cause an issue. Temperature probes and thermocouples are designed to be installed to the center of the vessel's volume to get the most accurate readings, so keep that in mind when you're measuring how much to cut and whatnot. I can provide a shitty hand sketch if it makes it easier to understand.

Thanks Tim. That's really good to know. I cut it just enough so it has about an inch protruding from the other end of the radiator. I installed it right under the upper main inlet (in the fins), which I'm assuming is the hottest part of the Rad.

I've seen mixed reviews on these things, so now I'm assuming maybe it's just a bad product. I also have to check which temperature my brother ordered. I'm seeing they range from 160F to 210F. I'm thinking 190F should be the way to go, with a 175F shutoff.

Been using Photobucket for like 13 years I think.  Last 2 or so years it has turned to shit.  I have trouble accessing my pics in the evenings.  Whats a good alternative?

Anyone have a good resource for ordering OEM euro-spec parts (specifically OEM euro-spec headlamps/cornerlamps)?

I can only imagine you'll pay out the ass for them but it seems like Viva has gotten their hands on a bunch of Euro-spec stuff for the new S60s lately. Maybe worth inquiring?

New or used parts?

New, but preferably at a discounted (not retail) pricing...

Depends on your definition of retail pricing. OE lights are not reasonably priced and not available for purchase from the supplier(s). What parts exactly, got any numbers?

Basically looking for a Tasca Parts kind of site except for the euro market. Don't have VIDA at the moment but I might be able to dig around for some part #'s.

Tonight is the first time I'm having problems.  Can't upload a photo on mobile or desktop versions of the site.  WTF.

I'm pretty fed up with the terrible mobile app, shitload of adds all over the site, and generally shitty interface.  I'll probably make a Flickr account and move everything over to there.
