You're lucky that sonofabitch didn't get seized and put on the auction block. Florida would've taken it no matter whose car it was. Kinda makes you think twice who you loan your wheels to I bet. :(

Not always, all my rental cars that were stopped while on a drug run were returned to me, no questions asked. I never had to go get one from anything but the parking lot of the local police station.

I never pegged you as a drug runner Matt. Wow!

Ok, i suppose commercially owned vehicles are treated differently. A POV would most certainly get seized though.

I used to rent cars to the girlfriend of the biggest drug runner in the Gainesville/Ocala area (according to officers). I had no clue, the cars always came back mint, tons of miles but uber clean. Then one day, he gets pegged, she gets arrested as she is returning my car.... Epic.

By the way, enjoying your cold and snow? It's 12 here in Atlanta and we're headed to the Gatlinburg house today. It's 7 up there. I see you guys are looking at more snow over the next few days. I don't miss that stuff one bit. Big diff from Gville, huh?

got another $250 award for working on a project for my team today :)

dave,

your young, i know that. but let me give you a piece of advice.

act like you've been there before.

meaning.

i'm glad you were recognize for doing your job well. I'm glad you received compensation for doing your job well, but when people here who are far smarter, harder working, have families to provide for, see a person bragging about bonus's it can leave a bad taste.

i missed my bonus this year, it would of been 5 digits. if i had hit it i wouldn't of been bragging.

go ahead and talk about being rewarded for performance. its tasteless to brag about money no matter the amount.

just giving you advice from somebody who did the same thing once, and my error was shown to me. ;)
