my lcd screen all of a sudden doesn't display color. what could cause this?

could be a number of things
bad signal source (the dvd player or what not)
bad wires
bad screen...
is your screen a decent brand? i would start by trying to plug it into a different screen, and keep on chaning parts until you find the problem

or...there is some ultra strong electro magnetic interferance near by, but I doubt it haha
