de-greased the engine, and intake manifold (holly shit its white again) then washed it off... Am no longer afraid to take a hose to my engine now.
Then did it to the wheels and tires. then shined them :D

Enjoying the wheels a bit more, but these tires are still fucking huge.

Isn't it nice to have a clean engine. I spent hours scrubbing mine. Was real easy since most the engine is gone. Now to keep it this way will be the chore.

What de-greaser do you use?

Yeah the manifold has been blackish white since the last time we pulled it off  so a couple months.
Picked up some stuff at autozone while I was there, the grease just came RIGHT off as I was spraying.

Worked good after sitting a while. Was on sale for $8 at NAPA so I got 5 gals. Should have worn gloves more though, not nice to hands.

Fixed AC compressor clutch gap with green and white zip ties so I can check if they're still there :)

...Rode bike 36 miles, then...

Installed 194 bulbs and HID kit in my ABM headlights. Bright!

Ordered headlight eyebrows because my wife made the mistake of complaining about the gap between the corner lights and hood :P

Black rivets for the rear bumper/splash guards on the wagon. Finally found my box of black rivets I bought 3 months ago and wanted to be outside yesterday.

And discovered that I have a nail in a tire. The tire is new as of 30 miles ago. I'm ecstatic.

93 oct, highest here. Drove 60 miles to look at the house and run some errands.

I can't wait to wash it and replace the driver's side axle in my driveway

Agreed, looks great Reid!

I FINALLY got my car to idle right. Took several adjustments of the throttle plate and base idle screw, but now it idles like it should. This was driving me nuts for so long!

I forget. It was a satin black plastic paint. Supposedly once it sets it won't scratch or chip. But with the material of the brace I don't think that would happen anyway.

Wait...info? Mine tends to idle a little low on occasion and nearly die.

Unless you've changed your throttle plate or throttle body I doubt that's your issue. I installed an n/a throttle body and 960 plate and then started having issues.

Here's the link w the info though
