What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Recommended Posts

Needs less crease on the edges.. that's just my OCD talking. Otherwise looks nice John

Yeah it's creased a bit on the back. The material is sorta stretchy but just barely not enough. I did what I could though and for the price I think it looks alright.

Went out to find material to wrap a sub box. $1.35 later I walked out with a scrap piece of chocolate brown vinyl that I used to wrap my armrest. Might buy more and do a spare set of door panel inserts with the same material if I like the color.

Looks good. I want to do that, was it easy to remove the top of the armrest? Looks like you need a new cupholder. Someone should find a way to make them outta aluminum or something.

Top comes apart with three t25 torx screws. The back has some ripples in it but I couldn't avoid it... I'm on my 5th junkyard Cupholder. I just periodically break then then get a new on at the Jy when I find a decent condition one.

I'm currently doing a spare door panel insert.

Washed it, and took the roof racks off so I could wash.

Had my head tested on a vacuum table. Tested 100%! Hand lapping the valves took a decent amount of time so I was pretty pumped. Worked for about 2 hours tonight with my father torquing down head bolts and buttoning pieces back on the engine. May have a "first start" this weekend :)
