What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Recommended Posts

And to think you actually bought a brand new mount from IPD, only to ruin it like that.

You know, I take back everything bad I've ever posted about Prezman. Clearly, he knows what's up.

Stared at it in the driveway, refusing to drive it because of how severely cracked/rotted the timing belt is... cant wait for my FCP parts to get here

Mildly drove it to work. Didnt really take it over 85 for once.

Stared at it enjoying one more day of it being clean.

Took battery out of trunk. Removed the fenders. Removed all power/grounds. Removed all the junction blocks. Cut up a battery tray, tossed it somewhere up front. More later.

My hand slipped off the shifter while I was driving and accidentally punched the CD button...only to find that when I bought the car, the previous owner left their Justin Beiber disc in the cd player. So I did a Bieber CD delete by tossing it out the window.

Did Kevin jump out of the car to save it?

Poly upper engine bushing in the XC90.

Painted the mount in engine enamel silver. Clean and discreet.

It was a valiant effort but unfortunately for him I scratched the CD before I tossed it ;)

Did you do it in the shower?

Did you do it in the shower?

Yes, just after taking a shit.

No drips.

In all seriousness: pulled it off the engine after driving for an hour. Used gloves to pull it, clean it quickly and painted it immediately. Paint dried in 10 minutes that way. Fastest upper engine mount swap in the history of my garage.
