What Did You Do To Your Car Today.

Recommended Posts

Not really. Its just shell with some glass and a few interior bits.

Got it for $950 on craigslist. 2 years later hit a deer. Insurance pays $2800, just enough for me to buy a local Porsche 951. ^_^

Probably when it looked its best.

Drove it and drove it, then drove it some more. No beans given, too much traffic to have fun.

Your first what? Let me quess it's now your favorite drink.

and maybe they can have the $120 for an alignment.

They'll probably send it out for that. My V dealer does anyway. I found a great alignment shop by asking tire shops that DON'T do alignment and places that specialize in trailer hitch installs.

Spent almost $600 so far today, with more to come next week. Ugh, hope it turns out worth it.

Replaced the thermostat ... what a pain in the ass.

Serpentine belt had to come off, power steering pump moved to the side and the bottom bolt on the thermostat housing was a bitch ...

2.5 hours later, runs like a champ.
