Pulled engine and trans from a 96 turbo wagon, factory 5spd (no egr, sas and only 1 o2 sensor) with a back hoe (didn't film that, but should of). Gave the body to my friend for the use of his back hoe.

On our way to his back fourty with 20+ cars with the body

Then shoved all that crap into my tiny azz garage. Had to literally drive the bbq into my work bench to fit it

Left it like that for tonight. Gotta figure out how to fit it all

Sidenote. Anybody know of a cheap first gen miata rolling chasis around ottawa?

Pressure washer spray down to remove salt and sand.

Then installed new wipers all around on the R, way overdue.

Late update on the trip... drove all the way from Cleveland area to Denver on day 2, then stayed at a friend's house and drove to Denver to Durango yesterday. Crossed over 306 k miles while entering town. Picture from the ride down:

Gave it a bath. Definitely looked like Brazzers pic with the foam on it. Nice weather today and tomorrow, figured I'd keep it clean.

Added Powerflex 95A (black) poly small trans mount. MAN wish I did that sooner. No clunks, smoother shifts. Only minor issue is MORE viberation with the 95A poly when I leave it out in the cold. But that's nothing new... ^_^ Can't wait to swap out the top engine mount.

Drove through the first snowfall; definitely want to fix the AWD.

Fix that AWD! Snowed 7 inches last night and snow still falling. The car drove almost like on dry pavement. Others were getting stuck every time they stop or afraid to park all the way over to the curbs (where we pile all of the snow). It is so nice to not be worried about driving in the snow.

And the video of the car rolling down the cliff, OMG, I cannot believe how far that car kept going. If I were the cameraman on the lower end, I'd have been getting worried toward the end there!

Got in to drive to work and noticed the temp!

Later this evening it was -14. The 30s coming to Texas sound like a heat wave. And no lectures about driving while taking a pic, oh yeah! please!

Pressure washed the salt off of it. This town goes nuts with road salt and I'm done battling rust on this wagon. Yes it was 26 degrees out, yes, the neighbors laughed but hey, my car's clean.
