Not me, but my brother finally installed the torque tube bushing.

Completely eliminated the drivetrain clunk the black R had, also reduced vibration in general.

Yep, the one on the torque tube arm.

We've had the bushing sitting on the shelf for at least a year and a half.

I went through the same thing. Cracked the housing getting the old bushing out. That thing banged sooo loud

Started "Dynamatting" since my whole interior is out.

Not getting carried away, but getting rid of noises.

This car will have no squeaks, rattles or any other annoying bullshit

Mike, what are you using to treat the seats?

I've got a set of T5-R seats that I've tried to soften up with Leatherique, I'd consider the results mediocre at best. Then again it might just be the type of leather.

Matt, while everyone is out you should throw some closed cell material down as well. That is really what helps with noise cancellation

when I do spring cleaning on my 850 and take out the seats, carpets, etc that might be a good excuse to put some dynamat down

What kinda stuff are you using?

I am Using "Peel and Seal"

It is what Dyanamat and FatMat is...

Only its $16 a roll at Lowes. In the roofing dept. It is the identical product as the standard .50 thick name brand.

I am not a fan of leatherique unless its to fill cracks on beat ass seats.

For more than 20 years I've used Lexol. It is cheap and it works great.

This is what I did today:

Before

After:

I'll put up a couple better ones or I'll PM you a couple on facebook John

The seats were very grey and hazy.. had been in a JY for long time. They are now super soft and look brand new.

I have a technique with Lexol that works great but takes a day or so
