Ive been curious about how one would put a sub under the seats. How difficult is it and how is it usually done? What subs are usually the best?

If anyone knows any tips they have seen work let me know.

depends on vehicle, but usually i advice against it...

reason being, one, mostlikely you have to do some custom fabrication to get anough of an ecnlosure space, two, you wil have to use a shallow sub, and three, it fires rightinto the seat cushion, and on most cars, the fitment is not that great...

so basically,y ou spend a lot of effort in creating something htat doesnt get very loud and dont sound that great...

the proper way to do in floor subs is to cut a whole inthe floor, weld in an enclosure, and then put a sub flush into the floor wink.gif

but you can try bass shakers, from aura, little virbrating gadgets that simulates the rumble of a bass note, surprisingly effective...especially if you have some kind of small sub somewhere that initiates the acoustic part of the bass frequency.

What about one of those 6" rockford subs... I've always wondered if they'd fit in the back doors. cool.gif

subs in doors usually fall into the same category as subs under seat, a lot of effort and often hard to achieve good results...

So what im really tring to do is put some subs in for as cheap as possible without it sounding like crap. Does anyone know how [SIZE=7]THAT [SIZE=1]would be done? Id rather not throw them in the trunk is the problem though. monkey.gif
