Been going to Adria for my 850 - so far so good, but I am looking for input/comparison's for them and others in Ottawa - I believe Young Street is one, and a good one at that - any others?

Adria's done some great work for me - as far as I can tell, at great prices - biggest job was the blown main gasket. When it went, the trans had been giving me problems. They offered to replace with a rebuilt one (car was at 200K, trans was rebuilt at 100K), plus replace the clutch (they were in there) with no additional charge for labour. Now, I understand that they have to do most of that labour anyways just to get to the main gsket, bt that seemed to be pretty good. Am I giving them too much credit?

Avoid Adria like the plague. Good mechanics, but sooner or later, Simon and Ante will take you to the cleaners, all the while smiling and shaking your hand. After 14 years of going there, what they pulled on me was unforgivable. And I'm only one of many local VCOA members with this sad tale. You have been warned.
