looks like this guy did a pretty sweet set up with his doors, might be an alternative to kickpanels if you dont want your footspace taken up. The blue button at the bottom will let you see the finished product.

i have seen that picture, this really isnt about bettet or worse really, very often, peoples put midbass in the lower doors with the midrange and tweet in the kicks.

its a matter of preference, but if you chose to go wtih a three way component st, say a dyn audio 360, often, its more feasible to put the big midbass in the doors smile.gif now, if htis guy was into stereo competition or sound quality, I would suspeect that he put the mid and tweet of his dynauiod set in kicks down there smile.gif

hehe so, not really an alternative, but combined WITH kicks, this could be a good solution to great sound inthe 850...but i would have to say this is ALOT of work , quite a bit more involved than building a set of kicks, so i would say onoly for those who areally really into good sound quality wink.gif

i ma still do something like this in my car, wiht a pair of jl 6w0s in the doors and comps in kicks, smile.gif
