Isn't the only difference the length of the harness? The signal is all the same - if it has the same # of wires & the same connector there should be no reason why not.

Why wouldnt it, i mean your getting the wrong AF ratios going into the engine which could read out with a bad 02 but i would still replace them since you probably have over 100K on the sensors.

ohh yeah replace those sensors, if you cant afford both then just do the first one, the second one is pretty much useless in a way. Atleast that way you know its not a O2 issue and you can go from there.

the one PRE cat is for your AFR (air fuel ratio) and should help your MPG... the 2nd one is basically a way to see if your CAT is bad... I had a clogged CAT and the CEL was not on.. so go figure.
you can clean your O2 sensors by running a blow torch over them 5 times really quick alrong the sensor that goes into the piping.

it will be VERY long.. you would have to ZIP tie it off... but what would you put in the rear?

Dave, why do u make it so confusing
If the car is 150k miles and o2 sensors never been changed before, and his code is not a clogged o2 sensor, then a biggest possibility that front o2 sensor gone bad.
