I have been looking for a stereo for my 1996 850 and I found one. Bing sold me some stuff.
Crystal CXE 615 coax speakers in kick panels
Two Crystal Pro SE 10.4 10" subs in a sealed box
GS Redline by Autotek 4 channel amp, 4x100 at 4 ohms, 2x400 bridged to the subs
I am going to buy the Alpine CDA-9825 HU
I am excited to get all the components and get everything hooked up.

The only upgrade is my stereo.
She said I was living too much in '82.
HU: Alpine CDA 9825
Amplifier: Kicker KX 600.4
Front Stage: Crystal CSX 615 in Kicks (by Bing)
Rear Stage: Nothing.
Subs: 2 Crystal Pro Se 10" subs in a sealed enclosure
The only upgrade is my stereo.
She said I was living too much in '82.

Ok, I just bought the Alpine CDA 9825 head unit. I was going to buy it from ebay, but the costs started mounting.
Ebay:
between $135 and $160 for the HU
$20-$30 shipping and handling
$35 for the wiring harness adapter and dash pcket
$3 for crimps and a tool
$6 s/h on that (from crutchfield)
$199-$234 from a non-reputable auction
Crutchfield
$200 for the HU
free harness and dash pocket
free shipping
$3 crimps
total $202.98 from a reputable dealer.
