Parts Dept:

I always deal with Ron Schuler. Excellent service. Usually get free overnight shipping on all special orders. They have a huge inventory, so it's pretty rare that you have to order a part. Fair selection of Volvo Catalog stuff. Pretty nice selection of NOS too. I always enjoy having to visit the parts dept.

Service Dept:

My service advisor is Manny Hernandez. The senior Volvo tech, Bill Head is a part of Manny's team. Overall, the service dept. is fair. If you need something done, it is best if you make an appointment. If you need a loaner car, you must make an appointment. Drop off and wait service is available, but you're always in for a long wait. An oil change can take a few hours. Don't expect any favors or repeat customer friendliness from the advisors. There is no exemplary customer service feel from any of the advisors. There is an annoying after the fact customer service rep who will call and email you begging you to rate the dealer 5 stars if Volvo of America should happen to call and want a follow up. I really try to avoid the service dept.

Body Shop:

The body shop is really excellent. They have a great new facility. Attention to detail is excellent. Turn around is very quick. The advisors are very knowledgeable and accommodating. They have an Enterprise rental car incorporated into the body shop. It's nearly effortless to arrange your insurance to directly pay for the rental car when you drop off an pick up your vehicle. I've had excellent experience with the body shop and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sales dept:

Fairly large selection of Volvos new and pre-owned. Lots of different trim levels, colours, package option combinations. None of the sales people seem to know much about any of the cars, and don't really seem interested in helping you. You usually have to hunt down a sales person. Pre-owned dept. usually feature dirty cars, at least by my standards. Beware of body work and poor service records as they will take nearly any car as a trade in and resell it without any servicing to "recondition".

Overall dealership info:

Hoy-Fox "Automotive world" incorporates several marquees into one very large dealership. Established originally in the mid 70's, They currently include Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Volkswagen, Toyota, Lexus, Scion, Acura, Infiniti. Each marquee having it's own individual showroom and full access inventory parking area organised by make and model to easily view all available cars.
