wacko.gif I would avoid this stealership at all costs. Everyone in the area hates them; I personally know of a handful of people who've brought suit against them. One of which grabbed the Service Rep and beat him senseless. I've had multiple run ins with them including repairs where they broke things and refused to fix, as well as overcharging for all parts and lying about actual cost when I needed to verify it with insurance company. They refuse to give any kind of verbal advice, other than "bring it in for a diagnostic $90 fee" for even the simplest questions. Their customer service is rude starting with the receptionist whom sounds like its a hassle to transfer calls when thats her job, on to any ignorant service rep you speak to, especially in the parts department with the exception of one guy named Dave who seems out of place since he's friendly. Something as simple as getting a price from other guys makes you feel like they're doing you a favor and its all they can do to not hang up on you. Forget going that extra mile to send you a parts view so you can see the exact part you need. Parts that need to be ordered (which is often since they dont stock much), take a full week to receive since they only get orders in 1 day a week. I've had them lie in succession from the parts department, to the service department, to obviously coaching a technician to lie outright about what he'd replaced in a Nissan I had there. Their hours are horrible. They're out the door around 3-4pm weekdays and close early on Sat. They are scumbags to put it kindly. DO NOT TRUST BARRYS NEWPORT NISSAN VOLVO. THEY CAUSE MORE DAMAGE THAN THEY FIX. Their DARTMOUTH MA location seems to be slightly better, friendlier customer service at least.

Save the money and aggravation and drive the extra distance for Parts OR Service in Seekonk MA @ Auto Show (Tasca) Volvo - It's worth the gas money!

I second this post. Their service department is horrible. Kept putting off an ABS repair until the XC was out of warranty, went to Volvo who finally solved it. Inskip Volvo in Warwick is better if you must go to the dealership.
