thought I'd also mention something I did find weird, me and my friend pull u in my old tinted out black sentra with NY plates bumping Wu-Tang, and I'll admit I'm probably pretty sketchy looking, they gave me the keys to test drive it, without seeing my license, an ID or even asking my name, and no one came with us, are people just generally more trustworthy in Jersey?

DONT BUY FROM TORCHLIGHT. Ok so my wife wanted an xc70 as a commuter car. After looking at all overpriced crap heaps i locate an 05 at torch light for a decent price (7300). I test drove the car it drove nice but to my mistake i didnt take it on the highway. I buy the car and he says it going to the shop for a new blower motor. Long story short on the way home after 15-20 of highway use the tranny starts to slip. We get it home call Jeff the owner and he says they drove it 45 miles today and no issues (BS). I bring to his shop and when i call him he says the car is mine and there is nothing he can do for me. Torchlight does give you a 3 month warranty from an independent company which ended up covering a majority of the transmission that had to be replaced. I would NEVER buy a car from this piece of garbage again. He knew the tranny was bad and let me buy it. The shop in West Caldwell that he uses was actually very kind and helpfull by assisting with th warranty company. This guy Jeff is a slick talker who suckered my into buying his junk. Dont be fooled by him. Also a few days after purchase the check engine light came on. No idea what it is.

just go to a place like auto zone or advance auto and borrow their code reader.
