This is what I ordered for a boost guage off of Ebay...Looks kind of cool, and the price is reasonable, with a good boost and vacuum range for our cars...

Will this cut it?...I'll get back to you guys if I have problems installing it!!

Its very very easy, just tap off of the vaccum tree using some rubber vaccum line, then shove the hard plastic line into the rubber line and somehow get that line into the gauge and ur done. If its a digital gauge, then you just have to run the electrical wires to the back of the gauge. Where are you going to mount it?

Or you can tap off of the stock boost gauge line, ive heard its bad but i have no clue why because thats what im doing now.

http://www.overboost.com/obs/product.asp?p...me=Gauge%20Pods

would this fit in the DIN slot below my Sony HU?...do i have to remove that stupid compartment or can I keep it there?

or is this one better?

http://www.newsouthperformance.com/dinpanel.htm

would i have to remove the compartment for either of these?...how would i get the vac line into the DIN area from the engine compartment?, and where would I tap ignition power from?

thanks,

I didn't really want to do the A-pillar mount unless the DIN thing doesnt work...do you think the DIN would work?....but that is a great price for the A-pillar pod.

i have a link to the face plates for the DIN slots a couple of posts above...that would be cool if I knew that they would fit, and how it is supposed to hold the gauge behind the face plate!!

thanks.

The gauges are press fit.... They hold tight... the link that you have isn't the right one... and no, that won't fit in your DIN slot. Thats for just mounting to like the underneath of the dashboard.

These are the only boost gauges on eBay that I like. Good price too, I've seen them for $50+. The white backlight is something I think that gives this the edge over the front-lit gauges.

neither of those will work..it says universal for DIN slot on the NewSouthPerformance link i provided...oh well, guess I may have to go with the pillar...man, i don't want it on my pillar though...anyone know of other options?...maybe I can make a cutout for the DIN if the NewSouth one won't work.

thanks for the feedback!
