I made my own din bracket out of 1/8" thick plastic and then spray painted it.For a power source I tapped into the radio. I've had it now for over 2 years.

Jesse, isn't it hard to take your eyes off the road and look down at yer gauges? That's why I like the a pillar mount so much, you can just glance over and read 'em. It's too bad that the a pillar mount is so hard to pull off with anything more than one gauge.

Not true, Im using a 92-95 civic 3 pod a pillar gauge mount from autometer.

You can also make one fairly easy if you have some time, artistic skill and want to experiment with fiberglass.

I've heard of this before.... I kinda said that last post to draw people out into proving me wrong... can you post some pics so we can see how it looks please? I would love to go triple a pillar! thanks!

that makes so much sense, but i just don't want the thing there to look at all the time....i have my eyes down at my XM receiver most of the time anyway, so putting the gauge down there would pretty much be okay and visible! Jesse, that's what I'm talking about...that's the route i'll go...i have to somehow remove the little DIN compartment they put in that spot!

Oh mine does, I've just been trying to figure out if anyone has hooked the switch up with an aftermarket deck.

I have the Same AutoMeter Boost Gauge, but i wanna put it on a pod on the dash or something. Does any1 know where i can get 1 that will fit the gauge, the size is like 2 and 5/8. I think this might be ok but i rather put it on a pod. http://www.egauges.com/vdo_acce.asp?Subgro...al_Mounts&Cart=

cha, it doesn't take too much convincing for you then, huh!!...well, that's what i'll do then...if you can get it to fit, i'll be really happy...just waiting on both to come in...how much do you want....PM me...your address and phone number, and i'll send them out as soon as I have them in my hands!

I got my boost gauge, it looks very nice, and clean looking, can't wait till the IPD Pod get here.  Which should be this coming Tuesday.

post pics! I've heard the iPD pod doesn't fit "perfect"... I've never seen one up close and personal.
