I'm digging the Renault cover. Which cars had those engines ? I'm a sucker for all things Renault.

MY04 V70R 6 speed manual, mostly stock

MY05 XC90 2.5T AWD. Bone stock and staying that way.

The Safrane 2.5, engine is the best part of the car.

I would think cutting, re-soldering and moving all the relays to where water can get to them might just introduce said problem

Been driving it like that all winter and in the rain, never had a problem. Last time I looked up there, there was zero evidence of them being wet.

if you take your time and solder and shrinkvwrap properly, u shouldn't have a problem.... i mean i did spend 8 hours on like a total of 16 wires...... its not easy nore did i cut corners for such things to even happen

you wanna do it the right way...this is the only shrink wrap i use, adhesive lined, water proof solder joints....
