It has a strut brace and no IAC now, but I can't find any recent photos of that stuff.

Yup thats a custom catch can setup I'm experimenting with, deleted the stock pcv system completely, still needs a breather filter on the front, its far from finished

yup the battery is residing in the trunk in a custom built battery box, the BMC CDA now sits in its place and draws cold air directly from the fender

Tell you the truth I'm not sure. My brother did it when he had the car I think he read somewhere that it increased
performance somehow. Could be bs but I figured why take it off.

Well go ahead and look through 10 pages of everyones engine bay and tell me how many people have them ground straps installed like that, if there were increased performance I am pretty sure there would be a lot more people running anything like that.

There is an article somewhere (can't find it) about a shop that put a grounding kit on their 850R. They actually put the car on the dyno and made more power back-to-back. I replaced the factory shoelace grounds a few years ago with 8awg high flex wire on my 850 and it actually seemed to help. I plan on redoing everything with 6awg wire and interconnecting it all now that the engine is built and there's probably some more noise due to my solid mounts and MSD parts. Try it, you'll be surprised ^
