VS has acquired a silver 1998-2000 VR front bumper cover which was replaced with a new unit at 48,750 miles. It is in very good condition and includes the 3 lower grills. The fog lights are not included. It is not for sale. We would like to give these pieces away to someone in need, and we're asking all of you to nominate an individual you feel is deserving of these parts. Before you respond , please consider our criteria for nomination:
The recipient must be an individual of outstanding character. This person should be one who is always polite to others, treats other respectfully and is always willing to provide thoughtful advice or commentary. This person should be someone in need; in other words someone who otherwise may not be in a financial position to purchase an R cover, even if used, for their vehicle. Also, this person should be someone who never bemoans their circumstances; never is envious of others and otherwise doesn't make light of the fact that others have and they don't. In short, VS wishes to give a little something to the person who has demonstrated good behavior no matter their circumstances.
If you know of such an individual, please send your nominations to Greg or Charles via PM for consideration. VS will render a decision by July 18th. VS will pay to ship these pieces only within the continental United States. The recipient will not be announced. Thanks in advance for your interest, your time and most important your effort to help us give back to our community.
The bumper will fit any S/V70 from 98-00 and C70's from 98 to 2004 I think?

I'd nominate myself if I could...and I'm a pretty modest person in real life haha. I'm pretty much flat broke right now, and been unable to find a job so far this summer. Going to a much more expensive school this fall which will eat up every last penny. Speaking of, a lot of my next-to-last pennies were eaten up recently by necessity -- my heater core was shooting its load all over my floorboard. If only I'd been around here a little longer and people knew me, hehe. Personally, a new 70 series bumper cover is on my wish list, and an R bumper would be kickass since I've wanted to put in foglights, too (my S70 has nothing in the way of special features, extremely stock, not even a CD player).
Shameless self promotion aside, this is great what y'all are doing, I really hope this goes to someone deserving.
