Volpar can be seen from HWY 101 in Santa Clara just north of the SJ airport. The shop has been open for over 20 years and they specialize in volvo cars and boats. The owner Dianna is very nice and knows what she is talking about. The first two things that are really good about this place are:

1. They have a huge stock of volvo parts for all sorts of models. Their prices are not the cheapest, but they are good prices. They even have used parts for some items. I was able to get a new ABS controller for my S70 at a fraction of the price.

2. Because they have such a big stock of parts they are open for service 7 days a week.

I had a great experience when I took my car there. The techs are nice and knowledgeable. The tech working on my car used to work at a dealership so I was confident of their skills. They look over my car and explained all the codes they found and what was critical to fix and what could wait. They never tried to push me towards spending more money then I was comfortable with. Since they had all the parts i needed in stock I was only without my car 1 day, and this was over the weekend.

Very nice people, big parts stockpile, and reasonable prices; I would definitely recommend this shop.
