The C70 mirror works, but it cannot be the one from the convertible. You will need the electrochromatic mirror off the C70 Coupe. The reason for this is the slightly different mounting setup between the two versions of the C70s. The mirror brand new from Volvo is $130ish if I remember correctly. The kit is no longer available and the way I got the mirror was coughing up the retail price of the mirror itself and wiring it up myself.

To power the mirror you will need to provide the ignition 12V+ and ground. Most people don't really think about it, but the sunroof power supply 12V+ is a ignition controlled source and it is a thick gauge blue wire that plugs into the sunroof motor/module (one unit). The ground is the black wire next to it. Thats how I wired mine up and it works perfectly on my S70. I still haven't gotten around to wiring up the third wire for the dimming cancel when you put into reverse (tap into the reverse lights at the rear trunk area).

The Volvo mounting kit comes with a clear tape to protect it from metal to metal contact (bracket to trunk lid). It also comes with the bracket and torx screws to hold it down to the trunk, so no drilling is needed. It also comes with the double stick 3M tape for the base of the spoiler. This setup is pretty sturdy and it held my spoiler on tight even up to 125+ mph .

^^^ That is true, the center speaker has its own seperate amplifier (built into the headunit, and its signals processed by a seperate processor), so the voice will from the MKi9200 will not come from there.

I personally wired my MKI9000 (which is identical in wiring), by using tapping the power connectors on the radio, and by using the line out connections. What I already have is a auxiliary adapter wired to my S70's SC-901 with prologic, and i'm feeding the aux input the signals from the MKi9000. I normally listen to my iPhone/iPod so the audio goes through the MKi9000 (which drives and controls the iPhone) and in turn the audio from that will feed into my system, where all speakers are driven. Though all the speakers are being used for voice conversations, the system sounds fantasic still with no feedback.

Since I recently bought another Volvo (S80 V8) i've been looking buy and wire up another MKi9000 to it.

The last time I checked, the stock on this antenna switch brand new is nearly or completely depleted. So what I did was take the rear fog light switch (a grey one) and removed the bulb, and stuck a q-tip inside to push out the fog light symbol. I went to the junkyard and removed a black antenna switch off a 960 and removed its antenna symbol and transfered it to the grey switch. Yes the black background antenna switch logo does somewhat contrast with the grey switch, but thats how I got my antenna switch for my S70.

Sounds like my S80 V8,but there's no button for DTSC at all, instead a menu item.
