i did this on my current car 98 s70. It was a 4 day job because all my tabs were inexistent. had to get another dash from junkyard.

The speedo was working fine when i bought the car. I have put about 12000 miles. After i put the dash it stopped working. While i was redoing the boost gauge two wires got connected acidentally and the whole dash went out. it came back on again after 3 miles it stopped working and got a chek engine light.
